Iraq Altaqa Bitumen Plant is strategically located 20 km south of Karbala, adjacent to the Karbala Refinery. As Iraq’s largest private bitumen producer, we operate a state-of-the-art facility with a daily capacity of 2,000 metric tons, delivering ASTM and BS EN-certified penetration grade bitumen for road construction, industrial applications, and global export.
Our plant is engineered for 24/7 operations, leveraging advanced control systems to ensure consistency across products like ASTM 60/70 bitumen. With 8,000+ annual operational hours, we prioritize efficiency without compromising on safety or sustainability.
